PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This is the perfect introduction to those who wish to experience scuba diving and you do not need to be a certified diver. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is the first step in your scuba experience. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills, and then head off for your open dive on our dive boat on one of the beautiful reefs which abound the magnificant Noosa National park. When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving program, you discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the weightless and exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!

Why Discover Scuba Diving?

As soon as you Scuba or Discover Scuba Diving, you're on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That's because you learn skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure. The skills you will master during this program may be credited to the PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver certifications.

What do I need to start?

  • Minimum age: 12 (With Guardian/parental consent)
  • Be in generally good health
  • Sense of adventure
  • Swimwear and towel

    • What will I do?

  • A short theory and skills session in a pool taking approximately one hour (usually conducted prior to the dive day)
  • One open water dive lasting approximately 30 minutes. Boat departs the boat ramp at Gympie Tce and Thomas St Noosaville.. Departure times vary depending on tides but usually leave between 7 and 8am.

    • Cost $225.00 / per person (A non refundable deposit of $100pp is required at the time of booking)
