The PADI Advanced Open Water program provides you with a structured, well-supervised means to gaining additional experience. The course involves various underwater dives that broaden your awareness of the environment and your capability as a diver. The Advanced Open Water course is broken down into two areas.

1)Knowledge Development: Naturally, there is some reading to be done and there is a short knowledge quiz for each dive component.
2)Training dives: There are two core, and three elective dives required. The elective dives are usually suited to either the conditions at hand, or your personal interests.

Core Dives
* Navigation Dive
* Deep Dive

Elective Dives - choose three from the following
* Boat Dive
* Multilevel Dive
* Night Dive
* Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
* Search and Recovery Dive
* Underwater Naturalist Dive
* Digital Underwater Photography Dive - requires a digital underwater camera.
* Fish ID

Course requirements
* 2 passport photos
* Equipment - Full scuba including exposure suit, timing device, dive knife, and torch if appropriate. (We are able to assist with equipment hire).

Course structure
Course delivery is flexible to meet your needs, and can be completed in one weekend or over several days.
Completion of knowledge reviews is required prior to undertaking the training dive.

$550 including gear hire for the 5 dives if required.
