PADI Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most recognisable dive qualification and is your passport to the world of scuba diving. It is just the beginning of your dive education and will be the start of an exciting adventure that you will hopefully carry on for the rest of your life.

Or use the PADI online elearning option to complete your theory prior to your arrival and finish your course with us by just having to complete the 3 practical days.

PADI eLearning

The course includes:

1) Knowledge development covering the fundamentals of scuba diving including dive equipment and techniques
2) 5 confined water dives and
3) 4 open water boat dives over 2 days on our local reefs.

  • All SCUBA Diving gear 
  • Pool training dives
  • Training Manual & Dive Tables
  • PADI Training Log Book
  • All open water and confined water dives
  • P.A.D.I. Internationally recognised Open Water Certification Card

What Do You Need To Do?

  • Provide us with a Diving Medical which is no more than 3 months old and signed by a qualified Diving Doctor to the Australian Standard AS4005.1 Download form here

  • 2 Passport photos
  • Notepad and pen
  • Complete required reading and knowledge reviews
  • If you wish you can purchase diving equipment, such as mask snorkel fins and wetsuit boots or a complete equipment setup, prior to or during the course at a discounted rate.
  • Togs, towel and sunscreen
  • Pay a $250 (non-refundable) deposit to be paid prior to course to confirm your enrolment. The balance of payment is to be made one week prior to the first day of course commencement. Note, once the course has commenced and you decide to discontinue no refund will be given.

Course Dates & Structure

Courses begin regularly, please call or check the calendar on the home page;

  • Theory to be completed at your leisure prior to first pool session
  • full day at Noosa Aquatic Centre for confined water dives
  • open water dives over 2 days, following pool sessions

The course is flexible and can be completed over a period of about 3 - 4 days or as you have time. We specialise in small intimate group sizes ensuring safety and personal attention.

Cost

$695 incl all gear, just add the cost of getting a dive medical and photo's.

$500 incl all gear using the elearning option (separate registration fee), plus the cost of a medical & photo's.
